Larry started playing guitar when he was 10 years old. He earned a music theory certificate from Trinity College of Music, London. He began touring at 17 and has been playing professionally ever since. He played bass with Canada’s legendary rock band Trooper for 6 years, earning gold and platinum records. He plays guitar, bass, and mandolin, and continues to perform in a variety of bands including classic rock, jazz, country and bluegrass. Larry has been teaching since 1992. His goal in teaching is to instill the necessary skills to inspire a lifelong love of music. Larry caters to teenagers and adult students. His rate is $31 per half hour.
Our Group Lessons:
JUMPING JIVE BEANS MUSIC FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS
New this summer we are offering a week long program for young children ages 3-5 years old.
Children will learn the basics of rhythm and movement. This program does require one parent or guardian to accompany the student and will have fun singing, playing percussion instruments, and learning about the fundamentals of music. Led by veteran piano instructor, Brigette Ross, this will be a great way to introduce your little one to music with an emphasis on fun and exploration. Space is limited. DAVE'S SUMMER ROCK CAMP
Back this summer is our popular week long rock camps run by experienced instructor Dave Danylchuk. These camps are geared towards students that want to learn how to play their favorite rock songs together as a band. At the end of each week there will be a small performance. Open to ages 10-17 with a novice playing ability or 1 year min. of lessons experience. Students should be comfortable with their instruments and able to play basic chords and rhythms.
